your mind is deluded,
your head is thick.
you strike out like a snake,
and you always hit the parts
                that hurt the most.
and you do it on purpose.

your brain is all gray matter, working on the subconcious-
the way you move is like coffee,
you don’t take care of yourself.
your thick skin is calloused and your Catholic pulse is
                spinning you out into art.

slowly becoming a child again.
you are all nails.
i know though that,
underneath it all,
you cry, and cry.
and that is why i don’t say anything.
